Workaround for S/W Management Function Failures

Case 1

If you are stuck with failures at Test stage or function to perform, please take the following steps. 

  • Workaround A. If the Workaround A does NOT help you out,  log out and log in while Wi-Fi is connected.
  • Workaround B. Try it with another MY(Model Year) or Powertrain. 
  • Workaround C. Disconnect the 12V battery, wait for 10 minutes, reconnect it, and then retry the function.

If these workarounds don't help you out, please contact your distributor to get help.

 

Case 2

If you encounter a failure message during the function of S/W Management test or if the function fails to perform after replacing new parts(components).

  • If you cannot find correct mode based on the replaced part, please contact us at the following e-mail(ics@gitauto.com).
  • If there is a type of yours and keep failing with the type, there would have been updates. Please keep the version of GDS Smart/KDS 2.0 up-to-date. 
  • It still keeps failing after completion of the update, please contact us at the following email(ics@gitauto.com). 

 

 

In case the above workaround doesn't resolve the issue, please contact your distributor.
