Announcement Regarding Internet Update and Initial Installation Failure for GDS Smart and KDS 2.0

We are currently experiencing an issue with internet updates for GDS Smart and KDS 2.0 devices. This means that your devices may not be able to download the latest software updates.

Here's what you need to know:

 

  • Cause: temporary surge in traffic on our servers.
  • Resolution: Our engineers are working on a fix and we will provide an update as soon as we have more information.
  • Workaround: You can try retrying the update later.There's no need to wait for a specific timeframe; feel free to retry periodically throughout the day.
    • If the download fails at a specific percentage with an error message, do not press OK. Instead, press Retry to resume the download from the interrupted percentage.

      If pressing Retry causes the download to reset to 0%, please rest assured that the system is performing a validity check on the previously downloaded files.

    • If installation fails for a specific APK during the installation phase after download completion, only the problematic APK will be redownloaded automatically after press OK.
