Problem: Gulv logs are not being captured when using the Log Collection(Error Log Report) function.

Solution: Check the app settings for the following permissions:

  1. Access Device Settings:

    • Go to your device's main settings menu.
    • Search for "Apps" or "Applications."
  2. Find the GITMCommManager.Service App:

    • Within the Apps menu, search for "GITMCommManager.Service." This is the app responsible for GLUV log collection.
  3. Enable Required Permissions:

    • Tap on the GITMCommManager.Service app.
    • Look for the "Permissions" section.
    • Ensure the following permissions are enabled:
      • Files and Media: This permission allows the app to access and store log files on your device.

  • Importance of GLUV Logs: GLUV logs are essential for diagnosing issues related to vehicle communication (VCI). They provide valuable information about data transfer between the tablet(VCI, VCI II, VCI III) and the vehicle's control units.
