We would like to inform you of recent issues identified in software management. Specifically, Error Code 4001, ECU upgrade failures, and vehicle communication issues have been reported in KDS 2.0, version NEK-02-0062.

To address these issues, please proceed with the Internet Update to upgrade KDS 2.0 to the latest version, NEK-02-0063. This update is essential to ensure optimal functionality and resolve the reported errors.

Please note that the Galaxy Tab S9 PLUS and S10 series are currently not compatible with GDS Smart or KDS 2.0 diagnostic software. We are actively working on validation with the S10, and an update will be provided as soon as compatibility is secured.

Here's a simple guide to help you through installation process.  For detailed installation guide(PDF), please download it on the bottom of the page. 

 

Preparations - please download user guide attached for more details

  • Please make sure that Play Protect to be turned off.
  • Please make sure to secure 40 GB of free storage on your tablet and Android OS 8.0 or higher.
  • Please make sure Wi-Fi connection that allows access to external websites is connected.
  • Please save your license key at Configuration > User profile. 
  • Please remove old files if you experienced error code INT00M1; find details in the attached.

Step 2: Authenticate with Your License Key and ID

  • Launch Smart Launcher and enter your valid license key and ID to authenticate your account.

Step 3: Download Resources and Installation

  • The necessary resources will be downloaded automatically, followed by a seamless installation process.

Step 4: Run GDS/GENESIS Smart or KDS 2.0 and Check Version

  • Once the installation is complete, launch GDS Smart and verify that you are connected to the new server by checking the version information.
