Error code occurred during ECU upgrade (7000-01-1010)

Q1. What causes the 7000-01-1010 error?

A1. This error can occur due to the following five reasons:

  1. Static IP not set โ€“ Ensure that the static IP is correctly configured for network connectivity.

  2. LTE/5G to be disabled โ€“ This error may occur when LTE or 5G is enabled. Disable LTE or 5G,ย  and connect Wi-Fi to your tablet, and try again.
  3. Cable disconnection โ€“ Check if the cable is damaged or disconnected and replace it if necessary. Fundamentally, this error indicates a failure in physical connection. Therefore, make sure to inspect all cable connections and check for any cable disconnection or breakage.

  4. Google Play System Update not applied โ€“ Ensure your device is updated to the latest version. (Go to Settings > Security & Updates)

  5. VCI II defect โ€“ If available, try using a different VCI II device.

Q2. Do I need to connect the ECI connector when using VCI III?

A2. No, when using VCI III, there is no need to connect the ECI connector. The device operates normally without it. (However, only wired connection is supported.)
