The J2534 program usage procedure guides users through logging into GSW, downloading and installing the software, connecting the Passthru device to the vehicle and PC, selecting the device, collecting ROM ID, and performing upgrades. J2534 Program Usage Procedure
GSW Login and J2534 Access-Log in to GSW and access the J2534 program.
Step 1: Introduction to J2534 and Supported H/W, S/W
Step 2: Explanation of Supported H/W, S/W
Program Download and Installation
Step 3: Download and extract the J2534 program, then install it.
Step 4: Run the program after installation is complete.
Passthru Device Connection
Step 5: Connect OBD ↔ Passthru Device ↔ PC.
Step 6: Use the same account as GSW and AASRA.
Step 7: Explain vehicle pin arrangement and precautions.
Passthru Device Selection and ROM ID Collection
Step 8: Select the Passthru Device connected to the PC.
Step 9: Collect the ROM ID and check if it is a target.
Upgrade Process
Step 10: If it is a target, check the ROM information and proceed with the upgrade.
Post-Upgrade Additional Tasks
Step 11: After the upgrade is complete, an IG Key off message will be displayed.
Step 12: Confirm the final ROM ID.
Display Additional Task Messages and Completion
Step 13: Display additional task messages such as DTC clearing and learning value clearing and complete the upgrade.
If No Upgrade Available
Step 14: If there is no upgrade target, a message will be displayed.
