How to Set ECI and Ethernet Static IP for Ethernet Required ECU Upgrade and Diagnostic Tool

PLEASE NOTE

In order to carry out an Ethernet required ECU Upgrade and Diagnosis following scan too settings are required:

• When using VCI2, a ECI ( Ethernet Communication Module ) and its cable to be connected to VCI2-ECI-Tablet PC. Appendix. How to set ECI, VCI2, and a tablet PC
• When using VCI3, a designated cable ( P/N: G1XDDCA020 ) to be connected to VCI3-Tablet PC.

1. Proceed the Ethernet setting

✅ Please check the VCI and Cable connection when Ethernet button is deactivated

Select the Setting Connections More connection settings Ethernet at OS setting

2. Configuring the Ethernet devices

Select the Fixed IP Settings on the Ethernet device configuration.

3. Type the fixed IP and save

Please enter a fixed IP by referring the value displayed on the screen and save.
