Improvements by Feature

1) Fault Code Searching, Smart Diagnosis, OBD-II

1-1. Diagnostic Speed Improvement

• Current: Increased time due to automatic retry of control units when fault code search fails

• Improvement: User can choose whether to retry

  There are two cases in which a communication failure pop-up may appear.

  1) When the ECU that failed to communicate does not actually exist in the vehicle.

  2) When performing a DTC search in 'Fast FCS', some ECUs do not support the 'Fast FCS' function, which may cause a communication failure pop-up as the image below. In this case, normal communication may be possible by running DTC Search in normal mode ━ select the checkbox shown in the image below and then click the OK button).

1-2. OBD-II Icon Display ━ 'Completed', 'Not Completed', 'Not Applicable'

• Current: Text-based results with low visibility
• Improvement: Three types of icons ━ 'Completed', 'Not Completed', 'Not Applicable' ━ applied for clear status distinction

1-3. Fault Code Result Retention | 🗗To see the function more 

• Current: Results reset when moving between functions
• Improvement: Previous results can be reused → Allows comparison before and after maintenance

1-4. CAN Network Topology

• Current: Vertical UI makes overall network understanding difficult
• Improvement: Supports horizontal mode and zoom, displaying similar to actual wiring

2) S/W Management · Actuation

2-1. 12V Battery Check

• Current: No low voltage guidance.
• Improvement: Discharge warning popup with figures and colors indicators for functions that require long diagnostics.

Red: Not enough battery

Yellow: Operational, but caution is needed.

2-2. Function Execution History

• Current: Difficult to understand history due to text-based display
• Improvement: Displays last execution time and status icons

3) Data Analysis

3-1. Trigger Alarm Improvement

• Current: Difficult to distinguish between maximum/minimum warnings
• Improvement: Differentiation by colour and warning sound, supports precise value input

4) Measurement – Oscilloscope

4-1. High Voltage Safety Guidance

• Current: No safety guidance provided
• Improvement: Added high voltage warning popup

5) Operating Environment – Device Connection · General

5-1. VCI Interface Improvement

• Current: Only last VCI2 and VCI3 auto-connect
• Improvement: Provides VCI list, one-click switching, and removal notification popup

• Current: Immediate exit upon back navigation
• Improvement: Added exit confirmation popup
