All dealers must request repair services through their respective distributors (NSCs). Distributors then forward those requests to GIT. After repairs are completed, GIT returns the repaired parts to the distributors, who in turn deliver them back to the dealers.
GIT is unable to respond directly to inquiries from dealers. Please contact your respective distributor (NSC) for any service or support requests.

Do NOT Declare as “Sample” or “$1 USD” (Resource Circulation Act & Waste Control Act):
Never declare used or defective hardware as “Sample” or with a nominal value such as “$1 USD”. Customs Duty Exemption & 60-Day Statutory Return Deadline (Korean Customs Act Art. 97)
Re-export Conditional Duty Exemption (Korean Customs Act Article 97) — 60-Day Return Window:
Under Article 97 of the Korean Customs Act (Re-export Conditional Duty Exemption), goods imported into Korea for repair are conditionally exempt from import duties provided that they are repaired and re-exported within 60 days of import clearance. Customers must promptly confirm their return shipping address and (for out-of-warranty paid repairs) promptly complete repair invoice payment so that return shipping can be completed within the 60-day statutory period.
Do Not Use DDP for Korea: When sending items to GIT HQ in Korea for repair, never use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). DDP conflicts with Korean Customs procedures for Re-export Conditional Duty Exemption (Korean Customs Act Art. 97), causing severe clearance holds. Always select DAP.
Note: Local import duties, taxes, and carrier clearance fees in the destination country may apply depending on your country's customs regulations.
8. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1. Can I ship my product before submitting the ticket?
A1. Please submit the ticket first. Your RMA Ticket Number (RMA #TicketNo) is mandatory on both the Commercial Invoice and the waybill for customs clearance, check-in, repair, and return shipment.
Q2. Why must I never declare the shipment as “Sample” or “$1 USD” on the Commercial Invoice?
A2. Under Korea's Resource Circulation Act and Waste Control Act, Korean Customs detains used hardware declared as “Sample” or “$1 USD” to prevent unauthorized electronic waste imports. Always state the Product Serial Number (S/N), HS Code 9031.80, a realistic customs valuation, and “For Repair & Return (RMA #TicketNo, Non-commercial value for customs purposes)”.
Q3. How long does the repair take, and what is the 60-day statutory return deadline?
