NVS-150, NVS-100 (Noise & Vibration Sensor) Function Information
The current NVS diagnostic functions in GDS Smart and KDS 2.0 do not support pass/fail judgment based on noise level (dB) data.
Although the NVS-150 device is equipped with a built-in microphone (MIC) capable of collecting noise data, the Pass (OK) / Fail (NG) determination in the supported diagnostic applications is performed based on the analysis of vibration data measured by the accelerometer sensor (G), not on the noise data collected through the microphone.
Key points:
- The MIC ON/OFF status does not affect the diagnostic pass/fail results.
- Noise level (dB) values and recorded audio data are not used as judgment criteria.
- Diagnostic results (OK/NG) are determined solely by the analysis of acceleration/vibration data collected by the vibration sensor.
- The MIC data measurement and analysis feature is not supported in the current diagnostic applications.
Therefore, the NVS-based diagnostic functions should be understood as vibration analysis functions rather than noise-based diagnostic functions.
