How do I update Google Play System on my Samsung tablet?

2. Update Path 1 – Security & Privacy

On newer Samsung tablets (One UI 5+), go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Updates > Google Play system update.
ℹ Note: Available on One UI 5 or later. If not visible, use Path 2.

2.1. Open Settings

  1. Tap [Settings] (⚙️) from the Home screen.

2.2. Navigate to Security & Privacy

  1. Tap [Security & Privacy].
  2. Tap [Updates].

2.3. Run Google Play System Update

  1. Tap [Google Play system update].
  2. The device will check for available updates automatically.
  3. If available, tap [Download and install].
  4. A device restart may be required.
💡 Tip: Even if "Your system is up to date" appears, tap Check for update multiple times. Cumulative updates may be applied sequentially.

3. Update Path 2 – About Tablet

❓ I can't find the update menu under Security & Privacy.
On older devices, use Settings > About Tablet > Software Information > Google Play system update.

3.1. Open Settings

  1. Tap [Settings] (⚙️) from the Home screen.

3.2. Navigate to About Tablet

  1. Scroll down and tap [About Tablet].
  2. Tap [Software Information].

3.3. Run Google Play System Update

  1. Find and tap [Google Play system update].
  2. Tap [Download and install] if available.
  3. A device restart may be required.
