Solution for ACU variant coding failure

🐞 Symptom

You are trying to perform ACU (Airbag Control Unit) variant coding, but it cannot proceed due to an existing DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) in the airbag system.

🔍 Cause

Airbag system variant coding may fail in the following cases:

• A vehicle-side fault in the airbag system
• A mismatch with EOL (End of Line) coding information

To resolve the issue, check the details of the DTC. Once the root cause is identified and corrected, you can retry the variant coding.

🛠️ Solution

Follow the steps below when ACU variant coding is not possible due to a DTC:

1. Check the airbag fault code and click the DTC Code.

   

2. Click on "DTC Status".

   

3. Resolve the cause listed in the Information Code.

   

✅ Reminder

Once the cause has been resolved and the DTC cleared, you may retry ACU variant coding successfully.
