[RND] GDS Mobile Update Service Termination— Upgrade to GDS Smart (4th Gen)

For users currently using the GDS Mobile RND version (3rd generation), we are excited to announce an upgrade to the more advanced GDS Smart (4th generation) to provide an enhanced diagnostic experience. The official end of service date for GDS Mobile is under discussion and will be announced later.

• Faster performance through optimized app logic
• All features from GDS Mobile (3rd gen) are retained

📱 Supported Tablet Specifications

※PLEASE NOTE THAT GDS SMART DOES NOT SUPPORT iOS AND ANY ANDROID TABLETS OTHER THAN SAMSUNG.

• Official Supported Model: SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S9 FE+
• Recommended Specs for GDS Smart (4th gen):
  • Android OS: 12 or higher (OS 8.0+ is compatible, but support for versions below OS 12 may end depending on HMG's policy—timeline TBD)
  • Storage: 128GB or higher (due to ongoing updates, devices with only 64GB and 128GB storage may become insufficient over time)
  • RAM: 6GB or higher (4GB models may experience occasional performance slowdowns)

▶ How to Transition

1. Request a license key: sales2@gitauto.com
2. Register the tablet MAC address in SUMS
   (This step can be skipped when transitioning from GDS Mobile 3rd gen to GDS Smart 4th gen)
3. Launch Smart Launcher and download/install the GDS Smart app & resources
4. After launching GDS Smart, download and install the latest updates!

• VCI 2 is compatible with GDS Smart (4th Gen)
• VCI 3 is NOT compatible with GDS Mobile (3rd Gen)
• The default language for the R&D version is Korean. Please refer to the video guide to change the language if required.
