How to Deal with KNOX Authentication Error During Smart Launcher Installation

1) What is Smart Launcher?

Smart Launcher is an installer app for installing diagnostic apps (GDS Smart / KDS 2.0 / GENESIS Smart). Users authenticate in Smart Launcher and then proceed to download and install resources (including APKs).

2) Symptoms

• A KNOX authentication error popup appears during Smart Launcher installation. 

• 

3) Cause and Action

• If the internet network connection such as Wi-Fi, LTE, or 5G is unstable, it may not be possible to access the Samsung KNOX server, which may cause the above symptoms.
• Please switch to a stable network or check your internet connection environment.
