: Cases where all ABS/ESP Variant Coding test conditions are met, but failures continue to occur
Characteristics
When the ABS/ESP controller has been replaced with a new one (with the same part number as the previous controller),
May occur if the vehicle’s CCU misinterprets GPS (Navi)-based date information.
Negative response due to certificate expiry or time mismatch.
🔍 Cause Analysis
Gateway (CCU) Communication and Authentication Logic Issues When the vehicle’s navigation-based GPS location/date is recognised as being in the future, certificate verification may fail.
Security Certificate Status
Environmental Conditions When working indoors, GPS cannot be updated → Increased possibility of Variant Coding failure.
