Q1: A former employee’s account is still active on GDS Smart even after deleting it from the CCC platform. How can we fully remove or deactivate this account?
A1: Deleting the account from CCC does not automatically remove it from the GDS diagnostic tablet. GDS stores account information locally, so manual removal is required.
Solution:
On the diagnostic tablet, delete the following file(
*cfp2.ini) to remove all stored user accounts:My files > Internal storage > nvci > xml >*cfp2.ini
- Restart the tablet after deleting the file.
- Re-register only the active accounts you need.
Q2: Why does the deleted CCC account still appear on GDS?
A2: GDS operates independently from CCC for local account storage. Even if the CCC account is deleted, the tablet retains the user data until it is manually cleared.
