FAQ
Q1. Why am I being asked to log in again today when I didn't log out yesterday?
A. With the new KDS 2.0 update, the login session duration has been shortened from 7 days to 1 day (24 hours). You will now need to log in again at the start of your workday or whenever 24 hours have passed since your last login.
Q2. My tablet's battery is running low. How do I switch to a fully charged tablet to continue diagnosing?
A. Before switching devices, you must ensure your current tablet is connected to Wi-Fi (Internet) and perform a normal 'Logout'. Only then can you safely log in on the new tablet. (Note: If you try to log in on the new tablet without logging out of the first one, your access will be blocked.)
Q3. I clicked 'Logout' in a basement parking lot or somewhere there was no internet (Wi-Fi, LTE or 5G). Now I can't log in on any other tablet. What happened?
A. If you log out while the device is offline, the logout information is not sent to the KDS server, and the server still considers your original session to be active. As a security measure, login on other devices will be restricted until 24 hours have passed since your initial login time. To prevent this lockout, always make it a habit to return to an area with a strong Wi-Fi connection and ensure you are 'Online' before logging out.
Q4. The shop is very busy. Can my colleague temporarily log into my tablet using their account?
A. No. Under the strict "1 Person 1 Account" policy, simultaneous logins on multiple devices with the same account are prohibited. Your colleague must properly log out from their own device first before they can log in anywhere else. Each user must manage and use their own individual account.
