How to install SmartDLogger Program

Symptom

You can install Smart DLogger as follows.

Before you begin
1. Disconnect the CVCI USB cable from your PC.
2. Temporarily disable corporate data safety (DLP) and antivirus / antimalware real-time protection so that HWDriver (USB hardware driver) and program files are not blocked.

Solution

1. Register your account on the official portal if you do not have one:
   Hyundai: Register your account on GDS-Inside
   Kia: Register your account on Kia Dlogger

2. Log in to the official portal and download the latest installation package:
   • Hyundai: Log in to http://inside.globalserviceway.com/ → Library → Download New SmartDLogger Install Program (SmartDLogger v4.0 Program) .zip package.
   • Kia: Log in to https://dlogger.kia.com/ → Archive → Download the latest SmartDLogger Install Program .zip package.

3. Extract the downloaded .zip package on your PC.

4. Right-click Setup.exe and select "Run as administrator".

5. Follow the on-screen installation wizard as shown below:

(1) Run the installation file.

(2) Select Language and click [Next] button.

(3) Preparing.. Wait for a moment.

(4) Click [Next] button.

(5) Click [Next] button.

(6) Click [Install] button.

(7) Installing....

(8) Click [Install] button.

(9) Installation is complete. Click [Finish] button.

(10) Click [SmartDlogger] icon on desktop. (If you cannot see the icon, press F5.)
