If you see this notice when you start a diagnosis (i.e., when VCI3 is about to communicate with the vehicle), make sure you are on a network (Wi-Fi, LTE, or 5G), log out of the diagnostic app, and then log back in while keeping VCI3 connected.
System notice (exact text):
“Please keep the terminal connected to VCI3 to update important status information and then complete the login.”
Why do I keep seeing this notice?
If you don’t re-login, the notice will reappear every time you try to enter features that require vehicle communication, including:
- Smart Diagnosis
- S/W Management
- ECU Upgrade
- Any other menu that initiates VCI3 ↔ vehicle communication
Recommended steps (in order)
- Check your network — connect to a stable Wi-Fi, LTE, or 5G network.
- Confirm VCI3 power/connection — keep Bluetooth or USB connected.
- Log out of the diagnostic app (required) to refresh the session/token.
- Fully close the diagnostic app and reopen it.
- Log in again while keeping VCI3 connected to update important status information.
