Prerequisites for offline mode login
- To use
Offline Mode, you must first successfully log in at least 1 time while online (Wi-Fi) on the relevant tablet to synchronise user authentication information and the vehicle model master DB to the device. - If vehicle model downloads fail during prolonged offline use, resolve this by logging in again online.
Offline login is blocked if there is no record of an initial login in online mode on the relevant tablet or if the user differs from the initial login user.
When vehicle models cannot be found in offline mode
Offline mode works by downloading the necessary files in advance.
- Please check the latest version of
Vehicle Masterand whether the relevant vehicle model is registered. - For offline vehicles, please proceed using the
VIN Listregistered on the web.
1 account, 1 tablet single-session principle
Under the security policy, simultaneous login on multiple tablets with 1 ID is blocked (the existing device's authentication token expires when logging in on a new device).
The security enhancement on 2026-04-02 (transition from ID/PW storage to expiring tokens) blocks reusing the same ID for automatic login across multiple tablets.
- Please obtain and use a separate account for each operator/tablet.
Account unlocking
"ID has been locked"
If an incorrect password is entered 5 times, the account is locked and the following message is displayed.
"Your ID has been locked. Please try again 1 hour later"
If an incorrect password is entered even after 1 hour, the account is immediately locked again.
- Please use the function on the login screen to send a temporary password by email, or ask the corporate administrator to reset your password.
Smartphones not supported
The PDI app is exclusively for officially approved Android tablets and does not support personal smartphones (mobile phone users are not supported).
