Error code occurred during ECU upgrade (5021-31-7000)

Symptom: ECU upgrade in progress, error code [5021-31-7000]

Cause: For ECU upgrade erase memory or check dependency command, no response from controller or specified timeout

Resolution:

1. It is necessary to check whether the car is equipped with aftermarket equipment.
2. It is necessary to connect the diagnostic device and check the normal display of the sensor output of the target controller.
3. If the connection status and sensor output are normal, retry the ECU upgrade.
4. If the same failure occurs even after retrying, it is necessary to test with the file with the timing changed by requesting GIT.

5. Controller(ECU) recovery may not be possible depending on the vehicle model and controller condition.  Please also contact GIT and Techline at the same time for support.
