Error Code: 7000-02-0027
Cause of Error
This error occurs under the following condition:
※ A static IP is configured, but the connection to the gateway has not been established.
In other words, the tablet’s network settings may appear normal, but the ECU upgrade fails due to failure to communicate with the vehicle's gateway.
Solution
Please ensure all of the following conditions are met and then retry the upgrade multiple times in manual mode.

Check VCI device connection

When using VCI2:
➝ Connect via Tablet ↔ ECI Module ↔ VC2 (Wired only)
※ A green LED will light up on the ECI module when ECU upgrade starts. -
When using VCI3:
➝ Connect via Tablet ↔ VCI3 (Wired only)

Check the static IP settings on the tablet

Configure as Static IP, not DHCP
How to set static IP on tablet -
Enter IP address, subnet mask, and gateway correctly.

- Check status of the ECU to be upgraded
- In [Spec Info], verify if the ECU to upgrade is recognized properly.
- In [DTC Check], confirm if the ECU is recognized and whether any DTCs are present.
If Upgrade Fails

Consider the possibility of hardware failure.
➝ If available, try replacing with a different VCI2, VCI3, ECI module, or cable to test. -
Loose or damaged cables may also cause similar errors.
