[Commercial Vehicle] How to install GDS mobile on tablet PC.

Before you begin

* Before you install GDS mobile/KDS, you have to install PC Manager CV previously.

How to install PC Manager by USB

* Check if your PC manager is 4.0 or higher.( If not, please kinldy contact ics@gitauto.com.) 

* PC Manager CV has 'CV' MARK on the upper right side on PC manager.

* If GDS Mobile (PV) was already installed in the tablet, peform data factory reset first.

How to perform factory data reset for tablet PC.

 

Procedure

1. Run PC Manager and click PC Manager Internet update.

 

2. Click "Download".

3. When it is complete, click "Close" button.

4. Connect the tablet PC to the PC vis USB cable.

 

5. Click "Login" button.

 

6. Log in PC Manager with GSW ID and PW.

(If you don't know the GSW ID and PW, click here[Hyundai].)

7. Click "GDS Mobile/KDS program Installation".

 

8. Select the tablet PC you want to install PC Manager on.

9. Read the instruction on PC Manager carefully. Then, when you are ready, tab "Start" button.

10. The installation data is transferred to the tablet PC. Wait for a while.

11. After the data transfer is complete, go to "My files-Device storage-Download" on tablet PC.

Then, click "Next" button on the PC Manager.

12. Go to [Device storage-Download] and click "GITMInstaller.apk" to install.

13. Tap "Setting" button.

14. Activate "Unknown sources".

15. Tap "OK" button.

16. Tab "INSTALL" button.

Then, click "Next" button on the PC manager.

17. APK is being installed. Please wait for a second.

18. Tab "Open" button on tablet PC.

Then, click "Next" button on PC Manager.

19. Tab "ACTIVATE" button on tablet PC.

Then, click "Next" button on PC Manager.

20. Tab "Next" button on tablet PC.

* If you don't connect WiFi to the tablet PC, it may not work properly. Check internet connection.

21. Read the information carefully and mark the box. Then tab "CONFIRM".

22. Restart the tablet PC and unlock the screen.Then, click "Next" button on PC Manager.

* If you have the Notice below, please kinldy reconnect the USB cable from the PC.

23. Input the information below.

24. Double check if the CV adator and VCI II serial number is correct. These serial numbers register as a pair.

* If you have the notice below, click here.

* If you registered the VCI II before, you will have the notice below. pleae kinldy click "Add" button.

25. Read the notice carefully click "OK" button.

26. Data is being transferred.

27. After the data transation is compklete, GDS Mobile/KDS will be installed automatically.

[Note]

During installation, you may see the message as 'This app was built for an older version of android and may not work properly' if Android version is higher than Android 10.

Just press the 'OK' button.

28. Installation is complete. You may it use after the adminitrator allow you to use it. Wait up to 24 hours.

  1. Maker : Hyundai or Kia
  2. Dealer or distributor ID
  3. VCI serial No.
  4. CV adapter Serial No.
  5. Tablet WiFi MAC address : Path - [Setting-General-About device -Status ]
