Failure in Features of S/W Management with an Error Code 4305

Problem:

You encounter an error message "Failed to set Digital features(Upgrades) function. Please check your purchase information. Please check the error code and reset it after taking action.

[Cause] 4305 = Unregistered OTA version" when trying to update the OTA version through GDS Smart or KDS 2.0.

Cause:

This error indicates that your vehicle's purchase information is not yet registered on the purchasing server, preventing access to subscribed or purchased features.

Solution:

1. Contact HME or KEU:

   • If your vehicle is a Hyundai, contact Hyundai Motor Europe (HME).
   • If your vehicle is a Kia, contact KIA European Union (KEU).
   • Provide necessary vehicle information and purchase details to resolve the registration issue.

2. Check OTA Version and Update:

   • Once the purchase information is registered, verify the OTA version of your vehicle.
   • If the OTA version is not up-to-date or a cached version exists, perform an "OTA Initialization".
   • To find the "OTA Initialization" feature:
     • Go to "S/W Management".
     • Search for "OTA" in the search box.

Note: Resolving the purchase information issue is crucial before proceeding with the OTA version update.
