An error message occurs during DLogger Live Update.

Symptom

When updating Smart Dlogger, an error message occurs with the picture below.

Cause

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package is not installed in your computer.

Solution

1. Check the Details in a popup message. The message shows you which package you need.

In case of the picture below, Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package needs to be installed.

2. You will download the package on the web site. Before that, please check your Windows system type (32bit or 64bit) as the picture below.

3. Check what you have to download and install on the message.

3-1) If the current status of message shows 'Install Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package', you need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable package.

• In case of 32 bit OS - Download vc_redist.x84.exe
• In case of 64 bit OS -Download vc_redist.x64.exe

3-2) If the current status of message shows 'Install Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package', you need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable package.

• In case of 32 bit OS - Download vc_redist.x84.exe 
• In case of 64 bit OS -Download both vc_redist.x84.exe and vc_redist.x64.exe

4. Install the proper package for your system. After the package installation complete, re-run Smart Dlogger Program for the update.
