I got the message, "The registered license information does not match the region and version information of the product.", when I run GDS Smart/KDS2.0 app.

Symptom:

I got the message, "The registered license information does not match the region and version information of the product.", when I run GDS Smart/KDS2.0 app.

Cuase:

When GDS Smart/KDS2.0 for region A is installed and you enter the license for another region's version of GDS Smart/KDS2.0 through Smartlauncher, an issue occurs.

 

 

Example:

Installed Data Version: HME Version

Input License: RND Version

When GDS Smart with the HME version is installed, if you run SmartLauncher and enter the RND license, then exit SmartLauncher without downloading data (or exit due to an error), and then run the GDS Smart app again, the above screen will be displayed.

In other words, the data version and the license version must be the same for the program to run. Since the installed data is the HME version and the license has been updated to the RND version through SmartLauncher, the program will not run.

 

Solution: 

Currently, only the license for the region you want to install is registered, and the actual data has not been installed.

Therefore, please run SmartLauncher, enter the license for the desired region, and proceed with the installation from the beginning.
