The Actuation Test screen has been intuitively redesigned to display only descriptions and operating conditions in the basic list, with functional explanations and video support added in the detailed view, enhancing task comprehension and safety. Previously, operation time, status, and start buttons were shown in the list, but now they have been simplified by moving to the detailed screen. Video guides are provided for the BMS systems of EV vehicles, and unsupported models can be operated after checking safety information. The applicable app version is KDS 2.0_1566.apk.
The Actuation Test screen has been redesigned to be more intuitive. Functional explanations and video support have been added to improve task understanding and prevent incorrect operation. Please check the applicable models and app version at the bottom of the article.
1) Function Introduction
This update redesigns the forced actuation-related screens to allow quick access to core information and safe execution of each item.
- Basic list screen: Only descriptions (Desc.) and operating conditions are neatly displayed, with each item expandable via the Unfold button to enter the detailed view. The list sorting function remains the same as before.
Detailed view screen: Functional explanations with video support and unsupported items are clearly distinguished to clarify the workflow.
2) Before and After Changes

Operation time, operation status, and start buttons were all displayed together in the basic list, which could reduce visibility.
After
Operation time, operation status, and start buttons have been removed from the list and simplified to be executed in the detailed view screen. The basic list now only shows descriptions (Desc.) and operating conditions, with each item accessible through the Unfold button to enter detailed operating condition information.
3) Functional Explanation and Video Support (Detailed View Screen)
- Currently, functional explanations and videos are supported for six BMS systems of EV vehicles (the supported list will be provided later).
When entering [Actuation Test] - [Battery Management System], a video thumbnail (preview) is displayed, and clicking/tapping Start to play the video.

Tap [Start] to begin actuation test- For models without video guide support, the screen consists of operating conditions, operating status, and a button (start/stop), allowing operation only after confirming essential safety information.
