The login session retention for 22 targeted distributors will change from 7 days to expiring at 2:00 AM the next day to prevent account sharing and unauthorized access. Users may need to sign in daily. Technicians must use individual accounts, and any login issues should be reported with specific details. The change aims to enforce one-user-one-account compliance.
What is changing
Login session retention period will variably be modified based on Distributor Code.
- Session retention (stay signed-in): 7 days → Expires at 02:00 AM (Next Day)
*This change will be applied every Internet Update till further notice. Please ensure your technicians are aware of this update.

Why we are doing this
- To prevent unintended account sharing and strengthen compliance with the one-user-one-account policy.
- To reduce the risk of unauthorized access on shared tablets/PCs.
What you should expect
Users may be prompted to sign in again more frequently (approximately once per working day).
This is expected behavior after the update.
Actions required
- Ensure each technician uses their own GSW account (no shared IDs).
- If multiple users have been using a single account, please create/assign individual accounts and stop sharing immediately.
If you experience login issues after the update (e.g., repeated sign-in prompts or authentication errors), please share the following information via support ticket:
- Distributor code (DISTCODE)
- Device model / OS version
- App version (GDS Smart / launcher)
- Screenshot of the error message
