Q. GDS Smart / GENESIS Smart / KDS 2.0 closed unexpectedly. How can I find the cause?
A. If the app is forcibly closed without user intervention, a System Log (SysDump) is required for accurate analysis. Please follow the steps below to extract and send the logs.
Q. How do I generate a System Log (SysDump)?
A.
- Open the Phone app on your device.
- Dial
*#9900#on the keypad. - Once the SysDump menu appears, select "Run dumpstate & Copy to sdcard" from the list.
Q. How long does it take to generate the log?
A. You can enter a custom file name or use the default. The process takes approximately 5 minutes. Please wait until the generation is complete.
Q. Where is the log file saved and how can I find it?
A.
- When the "Dump Result" success popup appears, tap "Go to My Files".
- In the file manager, navigate to Internal storage > log folder.
- You will find the compressed log file (e.g.,
Test log.zip). Please send this file to the support team.
