This guide applies to specific regions or vehicle models. Check the documents below first for general prerequisites.
This article provides guidance on CPO entry criteria for North America(HMA, GMA) and Australia(HMCA), and assessment of age-related deterioration in used vehicles. Applicable models are Hyundai·Genesis JX1(GV80), NX4(Tucson), CN7(Elantra), and DN8(Sonata).
CPO Entry Criteria in North America
North America allows CPO entry only for vehicles aged 0~4 years based on the calendar year(CY) and with 60,000 miles or less.
Example: Based on CY2026, a 2021MY GV80 is 5 years old and is blocked from CPO; it can proceed only through the [Aged] path.
CPO Entry Criteria in Australia
In Australia, only VINs approved and registered in advance in the Australian subsidiary's management system can enter CPO.
Assessment of Age-Related Deterioration in Used Vehicles
Current draw for used GV80(JX1) rear turn signal LEDs and Tucson(NX4)·Elantra(CN7) HVAC actuators may measure lower(1.6~2.0A) than the new-vehicle reference value(3.0A) due to component aging, so handle them as follows.
- After checking individual component operation with GDS Smart, mark as normal.
